To cherish high ideals,
to reach great heights in life, to attain the desired goal, even after facing
mighty obstacles, is the ambition of every youth. This ambition is really
wonderful, marvelous, a sign of real youth, without which life is meaningless, useless
and monotonous. Youth must always dream big and look forward – and should never
be satisfied with anything less than what they want to achieve in life.
Swami Vivekananda once said,
“Arise, Awake and stop not till the goal is achieved”
May these inspiring
words of swami Vivekananda echo in the minds of our youth day and night. So
that they could march towards their goals.
It is for the youth to rebuild our nation. Alas, they are not able even to build their own character! How will they be able to build a new India? If they cannot solve their own problems, how are they going to solve the problems of the nation?
People say youth of today is directionless and need someone to direct them. I say there is no need to tell them what to do and how to do, no need to give them an ideology to follow; But strengthen their will power and make them wise through better education, give them confidence to make their own way and move in their own direction.
"We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one’s can stand on one’s own feet", these were the words of swami Vivekananda, this was his idea of education which could build strong leaders out of our youth.
What have our leaders
done to make our youth strong? It is not just enough to provide them with food,
shelter, clothing and baseless education. What is more important is to prepare
them for battle of life through positive outlook and practical wisdom.
When Karl Marx said
“Workers of the world unite”, half of the world turns communist. Let us all say
together –
“Youth of the world unite and become the pioneers of change”.
